April 2025 represents 40 years of Westhoughton’s Town Council. The Mayor and Mayoress of Westhoughton, Cllrs Neil and Linda Maher welcomed local Mayors from Adlington, Blackrod and Horwich, MP Phil Brickell, past Mayor’s and Councillors to a reception celebrating the occasion. Memorabilia from past years was available to look as well as minute books and photographs of past events.
