Mayor’s Charity Event

On Saturday 24th February, the Mayor held a Charity event at Westhoughton Lions Rugby Club to raise money for Senior Solutions and Tots and Toddlers Playgroup.

Lucia Strings entertained with a relaxing mixture of music played on the Cello and there was a delicious buffet and lots of raffle prizes, kindly donated by E J News, Gee Tee’s, Westhoughton Hardware Store, Indie’s Attic, Arm Candi, Hibberts Butchers, The Glass Onion and other individuals. This enjoyable evening raised £1030 to be shared between the 2 charities!
