Talkin’ Table - 1 Year Anniversary

 Written by Councillor Neil Maher - “As Mayor of Westhoughton, it is always a pleasure to visit local groups. On Tuesday 20th August, I attended the first anniversary of Talkin’ Tables at ‘Thyme for Tea’ cafe on Church Street. Talkin’ Tables is an organisation first started by Marjorie Hayward in Chorley, which gives people the opportunity to meet others to chat. I found it very encouraging to hear what a positive value it had added to those that come along.
