Mayor Visits Youth Group

Friday evening we visit the Youth Club session at the John Holt Centre, funded by Westhoughton Council, as Mayor and Mayoress. We were warmly greeted by Jo, Simone, Mariam and the team. It was good to see the many actives available at the youth club, such as cooking/baking, ceramic painting, arcade games etc.

Owen and Callum from Bolton Wanderers in the Community, along with Theo, one of the budding footballers, were outside enjoying football practice in the pleasant evening sun.

Its an excellent idea that both activities are co-located at the Centre so that those attending can swap between the two during the course of the evening So, why not join them at the John Holt Centre on Birch Avenue between 6-8.15 pm Friday evenings.
