Mayor Visits Senior Solutions

Written by Councillor Neil Maher - Mayor of Westhoughton “On Tuesday I visited Senior Solutions at the Winfred Kettle Centre, where I was warmly welcomed by Kath, John, the lovely team of volunteers and all the guests. 

Senior Solutions, through their dedicated team of volunteers and staff, work to prevent the damaging effect of loneliness and social isolation. I saw and experienced an excellent example of the work with James exercise class. 

The feedback from all attending was very positive, which I found encouraging. 

There is a varied program throughout September.  I'll be back again on the 17th.”
